It is by sheer coincidence that I have beautiful and incredibly stylish friends, with sparkling personalities to match! Christiana, on the left (aka Christianarants) and I went to school together and I have only just met Karen, which in its self is wrong, because I feel like I should have met her a long time ago! After our screams of support for the England football team turned into laughter, we turned to an an impromptu photo-shoot!
p.s The winner of our Kage giveaway is ……….. LUCY ! Congratulations, we will organise to have your tank sent to you in the next few days.
Love ,
The Queens,

Hello Girls
I love the blog its great!
I do have a question to ask you both…..
In your opinion should one dress nice everyday no matter what or only on special occasion e.g. Birthdays, Weddings..etc
I try and look great everyday but someone told me if I do, I would not look any different when I go out ??
Thanks
Jay

All so enviably gorgeous, you ladies look ah-may-zing with a great big capital ‘A’!
The almost neon red nail polish is hot, hot, hot. Do you know which it is?

Love the picture girls.
@Janet Kuti. Do not feel disencouraged to dress great every day of your life. WHY NOT! Life is too short. Whatever makes you feel good.
Whilst at uni, I was constantly questioned by people including some of my flatmates as to why i was always “dressed up” to go somewhere and even some guys referred to me as ‘high maintenace’. As a result, I started to “dress down” in my second year but this made me miserable and I did not feel like my normal self. I finally realised that dressing well was essentially part of who I am. And Janet, I’m sure you can still look fly and are still able to differentiate between a normal day and an occasion.
So my advice, is just ENJOY FASHION and dress in what makes you feel gorgeous and comfortable. xx

I agree. In my first year at uni I wore miu miu shoes, a stylish coat and always dressed well. My housemates always questioned me on my clothing choices and grooming habbits, i.e. I showered twice a day and brushed my teeth three times a day – I like to be cleaaan OK.
Anyway, in second year I dressed like all the other tramps, I wore jeans with a puffy kinda coat around campus[that I only ever wore when going camping]. I showered once a day (lol). Basically I started to be frumpy at age 19… ewwwwww… luckily I go to uni outside London so no-one important saw me.
In my first year my lecturers would ask me whether I liked their ties and socks etc, as a joke, they basically told me that I was stylish. And I was stupidly offended by being told that I was stylish! hence why I toned it down, since I thought, hey I’m a law student, I should be boring and bland.
Now I start my third year after summer, and I’m going back to me. I have realised like the commentastor above, being stylish and immaculate is part of my personality. I actually had sleepless night when I dressed like everyone else in jeans, a t-shirt and vans, when I desperately wante dto wear my fabulous shoesss.
I guess it’s about having the confidence to stand up and be the best dressed in the lecture theatre, campus, dammit the university lol.
Love your blog girls, ni
